Optimized design of these ferrite holding pot magnets features good durability, where filling material between magnet and steel pot effectively keeps dust out to maintain its holding force, meanwhile, it increases the friction to keep the magnet in position so that the magnet won’t fall out when used with light shock.
As the same principle, a ferrite magnet also can be inserted into the steel cup to be a pot magnet as the neodymium ones. But due to the special manufacturing process of ferrite, minimum order quantities for this type usually needed.
