Product Description

This neodymium rubber magnet offers one approach to fulfil holding purposes on the delicate surface with its rubber coating, made of TPV featuring better durability. Besides, threaded stud provides an easy way for mounting.

Part number beginning with SS means this is stainless steel version product which has the same dimensions, and forces as the regular version, but all metal components are made of stainless steel which brings even higher corrosion resistance.

Rubber coated magnet is a product that perfectly combined force and protection, and we can take rubber-coated magnets or rubberized magnets as an extension of pot magnets, as they are using the same working principle, but the durable rubber coating has greatly broadened the application scope of pot magnets.

Encapsulated with the TPV soft rubber coating material, these neodymium rubber magnets offer one approach to fulfilling holding purposes on the delicate surface, such as on a painted surface free of any scratches. Besides, thanks to the good physical and chemical prosperity of TPV rubber material, rubber-coated magnets feature good chemical stability in a harsh environment for more than 30 years.

Our NdFeB rubber coated magnet with threaded stud includes 9 different diameters ranging from D12mm(with M4 male thread), D31mm(with 5 male thread) to as big as D66mm(with M6 male thread) and D88mm(with M8 male thread), with the Min vertical holding force of 13N and the Max vertical holding force of 550N.

Now we have 4 different rubber colours of black, white, yellow and red available. Different colours enable you to distinguish and mark materials easily in your daily work, take the application of a magnetic cable holder, for example, you can use red colour for live lines and black for earth lines, so the operators will not get confused at any time.

The male threaded stud provides an easy way for mounting. It can be connected to objects with matching inner threads, for example, to work as a magnetic mount for cameras, beacons or emergency lighting systems etc.

Besides the regular version in low carbon steel, we also have this style in stainless steel version (Part number beginning with SS), which has the same dimensions, and forces as the regular version, but all metal components are made of stainless steel that meets the C5 salt spray testing standard of 1440 hours.

* We test the holding force of magnetic assembly by attaching it to a 20mm thick steel plate (low carbon steel with no coating) at room temperature and then pulling it slowly in the vertical direction with the device that is sensitive enough to record the strength at the moment when the magnetic assembly is separated from the steel plate. This is to give you a reference while the actual holding force in the real application could be different with the change of pulling direction, thickness of the steel, surface treatment, etc.
