By using neodymium magnet this rectangular rubber coated neodymium magnet produce a good holding force. Rubber coating can protect surfaces from scratch and it also has the property of good durability.

These rectangular neodymium magnet systems with rubber coats are suitable for use on delicate surfaces due to the rubber coating occurring neither scratches nor discolouration. The rubber coating made of TPV improves slip resistance, and also protects the magnet system from occasional moisture and splash water. Underneath the rubber coating is a rectangular steel plate with 6 embedded neodymium magnets, which are arranged with alternating north and south poles to form a specific magnetic circuit that produces stronger adhesive force. For external mounting with other parts like screws, and hooks we have two versions: one M4 internal thread hole in the middle and two M4 internal thread holes.

Application Tips:

1) These rectangular rubber-coated magnets are suitable for fixing signs, plates, temporary lightings or sample parts scratch-free onto highly polished, chrome-plated or painted metal surfaces.

2) The magnets must be attached to a ferromagnetic surface like a steel surface in most cases. Not all metals are ferromagnetic, for example, aluminium or copper surfaces will not work.

3) Take care when threading screws, and hooks, don’t screw into the internal thread too deep and pierce through the rubber coating on the bottom (magnetic) side.

• We test the holding force of magnetic assembly by attaching it on a 20mm thick steel plate (low carbon steel with no coating) at room temperature and then pulling it slowly in vertical direction with the device that is sensitive enough to record the strength at the moment when magnetic assembly is separated from the steel plate. This is to give you a reference while the actual holding force in real application could be different with the change of pulling direction, thickness of the steel, surface treatment, etc.
